As with many of my works, I had to erase something I wasn't happy with and replace it with something else. I erased the problem to find a new solution.
This painting combines many of the elements that I have been working with over the years in new ways. I use the square as a vessel, window, object ... persona to the world. A container for time, space, love, joy and colour
